Our North Carolina History
Built on family land granted by King Charles in the late 1600’s, Cherry Bounce Adventure Co. & RV Park has a rich history. We have worked hard to repair the original mountain roads and trails that were once made by horse, mule, and drag bars. We have also restored our Bunkhouse and Clubhouse which were originally built in the late 1800’s. Our efforts have focused on restoring and refurbishing in a sustainable way, using the trees and supplies from the land they sit on. We have even hand-crafted our doors and furniture the way the family did more than 140 years ago.
The history of this land is deep. Even the nails and hardware were hand-crafted by my great grandfather, who was the region's master blacksmith, in his barn that was located just over the ridge. He also crafted wagon wheels, horse shoes, farm tools, and everyday necessities for those who called this area of North Carolina home.
Our Campground
Our modern RV park has tent camping sites, RV dry camping sites, and RV sites with full 50/30/20 amp hook-ups along with water and sewer. We also have our rustic Treehouse Cabin, a primitive cabin with no bathrooms or power for those wanting a more remote camping experience.
Our clean bathhouse is open 24/7 and has a laundry room for guest convenience.
Our Off-Road Rentals
We have close to 25 miles of ATV, UTV, and SxS trails at four levels: Green, Blue, Black Diamond, and Double Black Diamond. Whether you are camping with us or just want to get a ride pass for the day, your time on our trails will be epic!
With waterfalls you can drive your off-road vehicle to as well as mountain top views that let you see the beautiful scenery both near and far, your adventure will be unforgettable!

From the beautiful hiking trails on the mountain to the miles of off-road vehicle trails on our property, there is plenty of family fun to be shared!
